Sales of Animaatiokone Studio ends 31/05/2010 and the software will be supported till end of 2010.

Animaatiokone Studio has gone a long road with many animators and we would like to share our thoughts about this important decision with you.

First: It's been quite a few years since we started working on the software. Ever since we have developed the program with love for stop-motion animation, provided phone support besides our full-day jobs and fixed bugs on our free-time. At times, this has caused both us and our customers some headache.

Second: The program is built to run on Windows XP and 2000, both of which are poorly available. Adapting the program work reliably on new Vista and Windows 7 machines would require more development work than we're able to do. And without such development Animaatiokone would run on fewer machines in the future.

So it's time for us to say farewell to the best PC stop motion animation tool. We would warmly like to thank everybody for your support. It has been a pleasure to build Animaatiokone with you!

Purchased Animaatiokone Studio software will continue to operate as usual. Reinstallation from downloadable installation package also works as before, and we'll continue to keep it available on our web site for the time being. However, we recommend making a backup installation package of your own for future use.
